Our Verdict:
Neutral
- Augmont Enterprises is an integrated gold and silver platform spanning refining, bullion trading (Augmont SPOT) and consumer digital gold (Augmont Gold For All); revenue grew from ₹34,921.49 crore (FY24) to ₹94,186.21 crore (FY26), and PAT grew from ₹75.97 crore to ₹348.30 crore over the same period.
- Because revenue largely reflects pass-through gold/silver value rather than product margin, EBITDA margin is just ~0.41% of revenue — a structurally different profile from every other company in this series, where profitability should be read against PAT margin (~0.37% FY26) rather than the headline revenue figure.
- Price Band ₹750–₹788; Issue of ₹825 crore (₹620 crore Fresh Issue + ₹205 crore Offer for Sale); Lot Size 19 shares. Anchor Aug 20, Opens Aug 21, Closes Aug 25, Allotment Aug 26, tentative Listing Aug 28, 2026 on BSE/NSE. GMP ~₹280 (~36%) as of Aug 20 — another very hot premium in this IPO batch.
- Promoters and Selling Shareholders acquired shares at a weighted average of just ₹595.23 in the preceding year (and as low as ₹39.73 over 18 months to 3 years), materially below the ₹750–₹788 Price Band — a gap worth being aware of when weighing the price public investors are being asked to pay.
- Genuine scale, an integrated platform position, extremely low leverage and strong returns support the fundamentals, but the business is structurally low-margin and cyclical (tied to gold/silver price and volume), customer concentration jumped sharply in FY26, and the very hot GMP plus the promoters' much lower acquisition cost are both worth weighing against the excitement before assuming the premium holds through listing.

STRENGTHS
- Integrated Gold and Silver Platform: One of India’s few end-to-end players spanning procurement, refining, bullion trading, digital gold, jewellery manufacturing and international sales, operating across 24 states.
- Revenue and Profit Growth: Revenue from operations grew from ₹34,921.49 crore (FY24) to ₹94,186.21 crore (FY26); PAT grew from ₹75.97 crore to ₹348.30 crore over the same period.
- Large, Diversified User Base: ‘Augmont SPOT’ had over 5,223 registered enterprise members and ‘Augmont Gold For All’ served over 49.62 million registered consumers as of March 31, 2026.
- § Extremely Low Leverage: Debt-to-Equity of just 0.01x in FY26 (down from 0.29x in FY24), among the lowest of any company in this IPO series, alongside high ROE (51.04% FY26) and ROCE (40.27% FY26).
- Two-Channel Business Model: Combines B2B enterprise/international bullion sales (via Augmont SPOT) with a large consumer-facing digital gold platform (Augmont Gold For All), diversifying its customer base across business and retail segments.
RISK FACTORS
- Extreme Thin Margins Tied to Gold/Silver Pass-Through: EBITDA margin was just 0.41% of revenue from operations in FY26 (0.46% FY25), so results are highly sensitive to gold and silver price volatility and trading volumes rather than a conventional product margin.
- Revenue and Platform Concentration: Augmont SPOT and international/enterprise sales contributed 92.90% of FY26 revenue from operations; a decline in this channel could materially affect the business.
- Rising Customer Concentration: Top 10 customers jumped to 52.09% of FY26 revenue from operations, up sharply from 35.72% (FY25) and 36.63% (FY24), with no long-term customer agreements in place.
- Technology and Cybersecurity Dependency: The business runs primarily through two proprietary online platforms (Augmont SPOT and Augmont Gold For All); any significant disruption, cyberattack or data breach could adversely affect operations and reputation.
- Recent Share Issuances Below Offer Price: Promoters and Selling Shareholders acquired Equity Shares at a weighted average price of ₹595.23 in the year preceding the RHP, and as low as ₹39.73 over the preceding 18 months to 3 years — materially below the ₹750–₹788 Price Band.
